ALPHEUS

Team SRMAUV, with its third vehicle, the Alpheus takes it a notch above its previous AUVs with upgraded tech and features.
With an improved design and performance, the Alpheus packs a powerful punch. The previous designs have been restructured to give Alpheus a mechanical advantage. The components have been made to be more lightweight and compact in nature. The end caps now deployed are made up of polypropylene as compared to Aluminium previously. The thrusters and hydrophones now come arranged in square arrays. A pre-manufactured hull is now used (Pelican Box Type 5000).
The power provided by Alpheus is greater as it now uses two 10000 mAh 4 cell Lithium Polymer batteries. This gives it an enhanced run time of 2-2.5 hours. Now equipped with an i7 core processor, the Alpheus ensures smoother functioning of the vehicle. Alpheus also comes with a revamped Battery Management System which ensures better efficiency. The electrical connectivity is improved by the usage of custom made PCBs within the electronics system.  

SEDNA 2.0

Team SRMAUV, with its second vehicle, the Sedna 2.0 takes it a notch above its previous AUVs with upgraded tech and features.
With an improved design and performance, the Sedna 2.0 packs a powerful punch. New designs have been structured to give Sedna 2.0 a mechanical advantage. The components have been made to be lightweight and compact in nature. The end caps now deployed are made up of Aluminium. A hull is  manufactured by the team.
The power provided by Sedna 2.0 is greater as it uses four 5200 mAh 4 cell Lithium Polymer batteries. This gives it an enhanced run time of 1.5 hours. Now equipped with an i7 core processor, the Sedna 2.0 ensures smoother functioning of the vehicle. The electrical connectivity is improved by the usage of custom made PCBs within the electronics system.  

SEDNA

Team SRMAUV, with its first vehicle, the Sedna, was the first of its kind with up to date tech and features.
With a modular design , the Sedna packs a powerful punch. The designs have been structured to give Sedna a mechanical advantage. The components have been made to be lightweight and compact in nature. The end caps deployed are made up of Stainless Steel. Sedna is completed manufactured by the team.
The power provided by Sedna is as it uses four 5000 mAh 3 cell Lithium Polymer batteries. This gives a run time of approximately 2.5 hours. Equipped with a Pentinum core processor, the Sedna  ensures smooth functioning of the vehicle. The electrical connectivity is done by the usage of PCBs within the electronics system.
